KAARDAS KNOW HOW IMPORTANT WATER IS
SOME OF our boys from the South West Clontarf Academy acknowledge how important our water is to society and that’s why three of them are all involved in the water industry.
Graham Taylor, Aaron Jetta and James Wallam all work for Water Corp. Aaron and James work at the Bunbury Watercorp and Graham works in Kelmscott. The Water Corporation are generous sponsors of the Clontarf Program.
Graham (Swaggy) Taylor is doing his traineeship at Kelmscott with the Water Production Branch (Catchment Operations) of Water Corporation. The team up there a very pleased with Graham’s progress so far and his attitude to work is first rate.

James recently began working part time with the Service Delivery Team, while at the same time completing his high school education. Operations Manager Central District, Glenn Firth, says the school based trainee ship program is a mutually beneficial partnership between the student and the Water Corporation.

James works two days a week with Bunbury Water Corp and he also attends high school for the other three days. Upon completion of the two year training course he will have received his WA Certificate of Education and Certificate II in Water Industry Operations.

Aaron has been working at the Bunbury Water Corp as a Trainee Operator since he graduated from Newton Moore Senior High School last year. Aaron said, “Being in the Clontarf Program helped me get back into school and helped me to focus on what I wanted to do.” When asked “How is it being the brother of a super star (Lewis Jetta)?” Aaron responded, “Wicked – You know you’ll be getting money off him later!”
