LYRIK AWARDS 2012

The Town of Kwinana held their Annual Lyrik awards for 2012 with students from the Gilmore Clontarf Academy among the nominees for awards.

Last year Tahj-Hilzinger-Smith was the winner of the “Young Person of the Year” award which meant he had the honour of being Master of Ceremony for this year’s presentation night.

Tahj took the opportunity with both hands and can hold his head high on the fantastic job that he did on the night. Well done again mate.

The Drumbeat Crew took out the “Group of the Year” award for the second year in a row winning a $500 voucher which will be put into a reward activity for those lads in 2013.

The big winner of the night was Josh Kickett who won the Respect Award for all his positive behaviour and willingness to help other’s in the school and the community. What a great end to the year for you Josh well done from all the staff at the Gilmore Clontarf Academy.

I would like to say well done to Tahj Hilzinger-Smith, Josh Kickett, Jordan Riley and Bradley Pereyra for attending the night and showing great manners, communication skills and etiquette during the evening.
