YEAR 9 MAJOR CAMP
The Year 9 boys at Rosebery Academy finished off the year in style before heading off to senior school.
To kick off our camp the boys were lucky to experience a fishing charter and were taken to a couple of fishing hot spots off of Cullen Bay.
Unfortunately not all boys caught a fish but highlights were Rodney Irwin caught a metre plus Jewfish and Orlin Nichaloff got his hands on a small Hammerhead shark.
The boys had an amazing time at the new KJS Entertainment Centre experiencing some intense games of Laser Tag.
They also enjoyed a circuit at the Marrara Gymnastic Centre, where a few of the boys amazed the trainer with their natural ability.
We started off with a few warm ups which lead into some work on the trampolines, foam pits, still rings and a lot more. All the boys loved it and they were all exhausted by the end of the session.
After the Gym we cooled down with a swim at the Wave Pool for some much needed down time after a long day.
For dinner the boys experienced an all you can eat buffet at The Jetty Restaurant. There was not one empty stomach when we left. The following day we capped off the camp with a relaxing day at the movies.
